I grew up believing love was difficult, and that I had to work hard to earn it.
So I learned to become easy to love.
I suppressed my needs. I adapted. I watched what made men pull closer and what made them pull away. I became the woman who understood him, pleased him, gave him space, gave him softness, gave him love, and often forgot to ask: “But what about me?”
That became the cycle.
I would lose myself trying to be chosen, then learn how to pull his attention back when I felt him drifting.
So I became very good at understanding men. What made them feel close. What made them desire a woman. What made them fall in love. What made them talk about forever.
And it worked.
I knew how to get attention, attraction, and commitment energy. I even had five marriage proposals.
But none became a marriage.
Because deep down, I wasn’t only looking for love. I was trying to prove I could be chosen. I was trying to make the wrong men commit, instead of seeing that some men were never truly choosing me from the beginning.
That realization changed everything.
I began studying the psychology behind attraction, attachment, subconscious beliefs, feminine energy, and the patterns women carry into love: why we overgive, why we chase, why we lose ourselves, and why being wanted is not the same as being loved well.
That is why I created Chosen, Not Convenient.
So you don’t waste years trying to become the perfect woman for a man who was never truly meeting you.
So you can understand the pattern sooner, come back to yourself, and commit to your own worth so deeply that love and commitment no longer feel like something you have to chase.
